Palestinian Man Gets Sexually Assaulted During Settler Raid

(MENAFN) A Palestinian man was reportedly sexually assaulted by Israeli settlers during a raid on the Khirbet Humsa community in the northern Jordan Valley of the occupied West Bank, according to witness accounts cited in reports.
Testimonies described dozens of masked settlers entering the community around midnight, dividing into groups and simultaneously targeting homes and tents.

Witnesses and a foreign human rights observer said the man was stripped, beaten, and subjected to severe sexual abuse while restrained on the ground, as others were forced to watch. He reportedly could not move as attackers continued striking him with clubs.

Residents recounted that settlers tied up men, women, and children with zip ties, dragged them outdoors, and stacked some on top of each other while continuing to beat them. Several individuals were hit with sticks and rifles, while others suffered injuries after being slammed into buildings.

During the raid, settlers allegedly attacked elderly people, women, and girls, issuing threats toward children and women, with one settler reportedly threatening to kill children and rape the women.

The attackers also vandalized homes, looted belongings, and released livestock over the course of about an hour.

Four Palestinian men and two foreign human rights activists were evacuated for medical treatment with injuries including cuts, bruises, and head wounds.

According to reports, the Israeli army said forces arrived at the scene, conducted searches for suspects, and that police opened an investigation and began collecting evidence.
