Russia, Ukraine Reach Deal to Launch Third Round of Talks
Putin told reporters that the discussions would take place after the successful exchange of prisoners and the transfer of deceased militants’ bodies, a deal that was brokered in Istanbul on June 2.
“Russia is ready for a new round of negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul,” Putin said, emphasizing that the specific time and venue for the upcoming talks are still to be finalized.
He also noted that the draft memoranda on the settlement between the two nations will be the central topic for discussion in the third round of negotiations.
