Vietnamese PM Urges Stronger Efforts to Supercharge Trade Growth
This move is designed to strengthen export activities and expand the presence of Vietnamese products in traditional markets as well as in nations engaged in free trade agreements or comprehensive economic partnerships with Vietnam.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is tasked with facilitating negotiations and finalizing agreements that grant market access to Vietnamese goods, while simultaneously working to widen Vietnam’s bilateral and multilateral trade obligations.
In addition, both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Trade are instructed to evaluate the possibility of setting up new trade promotion offices in strategic markets.
The prime minister emphasized that this strategy aims to broaden Vietnam’s overseas trade promotion infrastructure and enhance support for Vietnamese businesses operating internationally.
