Iran applauds truce between Pakistan, India
Pezeshkian stated at a shared media conference while meeting Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif that Iran thought about securing lasting safety in the area and encouraging kindly relationship with and between next door countries as it one of their shared concerns.
The conflict started following India firing aerial bombings on Pakistani targets, which the attack resulted in a minimum of 26 individuals dead by shooters in Pahalgam town, which is close 89 km east of Srinagar, the summer capital of the Indian-led Kashmir. After 4 days of army attacks on one another, Pakistan and India declared a truce previously during the month of May.
