Chinese Dragon Boat Festival marks its 11th year
(MENAFN) A total of 49 groups from throughout Britain participated in the 2025 UK Chinese Dragon Boat Festival, which took place in Manchester on Sunday. Currently in its 11th year of celebration, regional British companies, community institutions, Chinese enterprises, and pupil teams, all took part in the celebration.
Chinese Ambassador told the United Kingdom Zheng Zeguang at the opening event, that the celebration represents the spirit of unification and collaboration. He recognized that the devotion of the regional Chinese community in Greater Manchester and the town of Salford, emphasizing their significant part in encouraging cultural swapping between China and Britain.
Zheng recognized that Greater Manchester has been contributing as an important part in industrial hub in Britain for so long. The relationship between Greater Manchester and China is strengthening, which makes the advantage two-sided. The Chinese Embassy and Consulate-General in Manchester will resume working intimately with regional associates to deepen connections between Greater Manchester and China.
