Japan plane urgently lands due to man attempting to open doors

(MENAFN) A Japanese airplane going from Tokyo to Texas urgently landed because a passenger attempted to open one of the airplane doors while the flight was in the sky.

The airline stated that All Nippon Airways (ANA) Flight 114 changed its path and headed to Seattle hours after departing from the airports on Saturday "due to an unruly passenger”.

Port of Seattle law enforcement informed press that they had been informed of a guy who "attempted to open exit doors during the flight".

Law enforcement stated that the man, who was not specified, was "having a medical crisis" and had to be controlled by force by other travelers and aircrew.

He was afterwards brought to a hospital. It is uncertain if he will be charged.

ANA announced that “the safety of our passengers and crew are our top priority and we applaud the efforts of local law enforcement for their support.”

Authorities stated that as the airplane was in the tarmac of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, another individual was taken off the flight for "unruly behaviour".
