Triple Shooting Leaves One Dead in Southeast Washington, DC
The Metropolitan Police Department reported that the incident took place at an apartment complex located in the 3400 block of 13th Place, Southeast. Responding officers discovered two men inside one of the apartments; one was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was found unconscious and in critical condition.
In addition to those inside the apartment, authorities located a third victim nearby in the 1300 block of Savannah Street, Southeast. This man sustained injuries described as non-life-threatening and was promptly treated by emergency responders.
Law enforcement officials have launched a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting, working to determine the motive and identify any suspects involved. The area remains an active crime scene as detectives gather evidence and interview potential witnesses.
