Netanyahu dismisses deals to end genocide
On Wednesday, in a news conference at his office in West Jerusalem, he stated that “there are certainly 20 hostages still alive in Gaza and up to 38 others believed to have been killed.”
However, as stated by human rights and press reports, over 10,100 Palestinians are left in Israel prisons under inhumane circumstances and Palestinian and Israeli human rights groups say that these circumstances includes abuse, food deprivation, and medical negligence.
He stated that “If there is an opportunity for a temporary pause in fighting to return more hostages—I emphasize, a temporary pause—we are open to that.”
Hamas has over and over again voiced its willingness to release Israeli hostages in one swap in exchange of ending the genocide, to Israeli back out from Gaza, and the discharge of Palestinian inmates.
