Russian foreign minister refuses to end the war
(MENAFN) Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister stated on Wednesday that Russia will not consent to an ultimate truce with Ukraine, no matter of the push from French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Lavrov stressed that Ukraine is not trustworthy, as it has formerly used truce deals agreements to make and equip again its military, which permits restored assaults on Russia. As this was stated during when he was talking to pupils at the Russian-Armenian University in Yerevan, Armenia's capital.
He commented that "now, when we're being told, 'Let’s have a ceasefire and then we’ll see,' we respond, 'No, we’ve been through this before, and we don’t want to repeat it.”
Lavrov additionally made accusations that the European Union of worsened the war by continuous giving of weapons to Ukraine, pointing fingers at Macron and Starmer for backing Kyiv, which caused in the present position.
