Trump Expresses Surprise Over Late Publication of Biden’s Diagnosis
He shared his reaction with reporters at the White House, stating, "I think it's very sad. Actually, I’m surprised that it wasn’t, you know, the public wasn’t notified a long time ago, because to get stage 9, that’s a long time.”
According to an official statement released Sunday, Biden has been identified as having an "aggressive form" of prostate cancer, which has advanced to his bones. The announcement followed a medical evaluation prompted by worsening urinary issues.
"Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms," his office reported.
The condition was further described as being “characterized by a Gleason score of 9” along with “metastasis to the bone.”
Biden, who is 82 years old, and his relatives are currently considering various therapeutic approaches in consultation with his healthcare professionals.
Trump further commented on the development, saying, "It's a very, very sad situation. I feel very badly about it," underscoring the seriousness of the diagnosis and his sympathy for the former president.
