Egyptian President Demands Immediate Gaza Ceasefire, Humanitarian Aid Delivery
(MENAFN) President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi of Egypt has reiterated the urgent need for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid. His appeal was made during a meeting in Cairo with U.S. senior adviser Massad Boulos, where discussions centered on stabilizing the Middle East.
The Egyptian presidency released a statement detailing the meeting, in which Sisi praised the collaborative mediation efforts of Egypt, the United States, and Qatar aimed at achieving a truce. He reaffirmed Egypt's dedication to continued coordination in these efforts.

This meeting occurred following a new round of indirect talks between Israel and Hamas in Doha on Saturday. Earlier Sunday, Benjamin Netanyahu's office declared that an Israeli negotiation team is in Doha working "to realize every chance for a deal" that will "end the fighting," secure the release of the remaining 58 hostages, expel Hamas militants, and disarm Gaza.
