China Issues Stark Israel Travel Warning, Urges Citizens to Evacuate

(MENAFN) The Chinese Embassy in Israel has issued updated security risk classifications, identifying several areas as red (extremely high risk) and others as orange (high risk), according to a media report.

The designated red zones encompass territories north of Nahariva and Safed, the areas north and east of the Sea of Galilee, and the region south of Ashkelon and west of Netivot.

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs is strongly advising Chinese nationals against traveling to these red-zone areas at this time. For those currently residing in these high-risk locations, the ministry is urging them to depart or relocate to safer areas immediately.

The embassy emphasized that in emergency situations, individuals should promptly contact local authorities and the Chinese Embassy in Israel for assistance.

The remaining areas within Israel have been classified as orange zones by the embassy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also calling on Chinese citizens in the orange zones to remain vigilant, closely monitor the evolving situation, strengthen their security measures, and be prepared for potential emergencies. They are advised to contact local police and the Chinese Embassy should urgent needs arise.
