Kremlin Says Delegations Will Arrive to Istanbul Thursday
There, they are scheduled to engage in face-to-face negotiations with representatives from Ukraine, aiming to advance peace discussions.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, in a conversation with journalist Pavel Zarubin—part of which was posted on Telegram—stated, “We only evaluate the statements of (Russian President Vladimir) Putin, who proposed holding negotiations between delegations on Thursday in Istanbul. Our delegation will be there and will wait for the Ukrainian side.”
Peskov further noted that the identities of those who will speak on behalf of Moscow have not yet been revealed.
This information, he explained, will be announced once President Putin authorizes its release.
